WTA’s staff offers our membership the critical oversight of taxation issues necessary to insure they remain informed and able to participate in key tax decisions. Our legislative monitoring, third party advocacy and education are the answer for individuals and businesses that don’t have the time to monitor these issues, but appreciate the impact our work has on their bottom line.

Erin Taylor
Executive Director
Erin Taylor was hired as Executive Director of the Wyoming Taxpayers Association in January of 2006. A graduate of the University of Wyoming with a Master’s degree in Economics, she has considerable experience in regulatory and economic analysis, policy development and advocacy.
Ms. Taylor, formerly a Government Affairs Representative with PacifiCorp, has an established reputation for coalition building and an extensive background testifying before legislative committees. She has garnered the respect of state and local elected officials with her analytic and unbiased reporting of tax policy. Ms. Taylor’s employment has centered in the Rocky Mountain state’s as well as Washington D.C.
Former WTA Board President, Robert Tarantola, upon the hiring of Ms. Taylor, was quoted as saying, “Her enthusiasm and knowledge of relevant issues will ensure WTA’s legacy of prudence with regard to governmental spending.”
Ms. Taylor is a 2006 graduate of Leadership Wyoming and was named as one of Wyoming's 40 Under 40 in 2008. She was selected by the late Senator Craig Thomas to attend the 2006 Senate Leadership Summit for Young Professionals, and by Senator John Barrasso to attend the 2008 Senate Women's Leadership Summit, both in Washington, D.C. She also heads up the Wyoming Society for Association Executives and is working toward her Institute of Organizational Management certification with the U.S. Chamber.
Ms. Taylor’s commitment to community activities include serving as past president and special events chair of Wyoming’s Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and current Race for the Cure fundraising chairman. She is also a member of the PEO service club and Cheyenne Rotary.
Ms. Taylor resides in Cheyenne with her husband and three children.
