Staff/Contact Us

WTA’s staff offers our membership the critical oversight of taxation issues necessary to insure they remain informed and able to participate in key tax decisions. Our legislative monitoring, third party advocacy and education are the answer for individuals and businesses that don’t have the time to monitor these issues, but appreciate the impact our work has on their bottom line.

Executive Director: Buck McVeigh

Buck's Bio

Buck joins the WTA following a 32-year career with the State of Wyoming.  Many of you will recognize Mr. McVeigh as a former Administrator of the Department of Administration and Information (A&I) for the State of Wyoming.  He also served as the executive branch co-chairman of the state’s Consensus Revenue Estimating Group (CREG), the group responsible for producing the official revenue forecasts for the Governor and Legislature. He held both of these positions for 14 years and retired in 2012.  Buck comes to WTA with outstanding references, and his background in economic analysis and a high profile with Legislators will allow him to hit the ground running.
